Outlook problems after upgrade from Microsoft CRM 3.0 to 4.0

Today I found a solution to an old issue I had in a deployment where I had upgraded the system from 3.0 to 4.0.

All the outlook client was installing without any problems and had Rollup 9, but the CRM menu in Outlook didn’t work on all items, so they did not have access to the Option menu.

They had previous the CRM 3.0 client installed, and somehow the Outcmd.dat did hold old information.
